Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at a parliamentary assembly of his Justice and Development Party that the Constitutional Court’s decision to keep Twitter accessible should be canceled, RIA Novosti reports.
Erdogan expressed disrespect towards the Court’s decision and demanded it to change its mind.
The Constitutional Court decided on April 2 that blocking Twitter would violate the rights of users.
The website was blocked on March 21. Erdogan accused Twitter of publishing state secrets and interfering in private life.
