Cairo will host a special session of foreign ministers of the Arab League today, ITAR-TASS reports.
President of the Palestinian National Authority will attend the session and present a report on Palestinian approach to further negotiations with Israel.
The peace process became critical a month before the end of negotiations terms. The dialogue renewed after about a three-month break on July 29, 2013. Nine months were given.
US Secretary of State John Kerry said that both Israel and Palestine were responsible for the failure. Israel refused to release the final group of Palestinian convicts and announced a tender for construction of 700 houses in Jerusalem. Palestine filed bids to join 15 international organizations.
Kerry reminded that US President Barack Obama encouraged Israel’s strive for status of a Jewish state.
