Danish foreign minister visits Georgia

Danish Foreign Minister Martin Lidegaard will visit Georgia today, News Georgia reports.

Lidegaard will meet his Georgian counterpart Maya Panjikidze, lay flowers at a memorial, mark the Independence Restoration Day and the Commemoration Day for victims of the 9 April 1989 crackdown in Tbilisi.

The Danish minister will meet Georgian President Georgy Margvelashvili, Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili, visit a village of displaced people in Tserovani.
