USS Donald Cook will enter the Black Sea no later than on April 10, RIA Novosti reports.
White House spokesman Josh Ernest said that destroyer USS Truxton will stay in the Black Sea longer. Additional ships will be sent to the sea.
USS Donald Cook is an Arleigh Burke class destroyer based in Spain. It is armed with the Aegis missile system and carries Tomahawk missiles.
