Former world leaders to participate in symposium in Batumi

Former world leaders, including ex-US Secretary of State Condoleeza
Rice and ex-Secretary of Defense William Perry, are to arrive in
Georgia on the 6th of September, reports Georgia Online. From the port
of Batumi they will split into groups to visit Ajaria and Tblisi.
Mikhail Gorbachev, the first and last president of the USSR, is also
expected to arrive, although the Gorbachev Fund has not confirmed
this. The symposium was initiated by World Leaders Travel. It involves
discussions, talks and visits to Russia, Turkey, Georgia, Ukraine and
Azerbaijan. The voyage started on August 30 and is to end on the 15th
of September in Istanbul.
