The Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Michael Mullen,
has left Turkey after his two-day visit to Ankara. The aim of the
visit was to meet the head of the Turkish General Staff, Isik Kosaner,
Michael Mullen told a press conference, TRT reports. He refuted
information that the US plans to use Turkish infrastructure as a
transit base for arms transportation. After the press conference,
Mullen had a face-to-face meeting with Turkish premier Recep Tayip
Erdogan.
