Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with members of the All-Russian People’s Front that Russia had never prepared for annexation of Crimea and had only done it after receiving information about the local opinion, ITAR-TASS reports.
He noted that Crimea will transform from a donation-needing to donation-giving region in a few years. Putin noted that small efficient industry and recreation centers may be formed in Crimea.
