Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze today begins a working visit to Germany. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Panjikidze’s delegation will hold meetings with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the German Chancellor‘s Advisor Christoph Heusgen, as well as Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Bundestag, Norbert Röttgen.
Panjikidze will deliver a speech at the Friedrich-Ebert Foundation, on the topic: “The European orientation of our foreign policy”.
At the meeting with Panjikidze, Steinmeier said he can imagine many steps that "can intensify cooperation between Georgia and the NATO".
