President Dmitry Medvedev was informed on Sunday of the situation in Buinaksk by Defence Minister Anatoly Serdyukov, where a terror act was committed at a field camp of the 136th Brigade of the Defence Ministry, ITAR-TASS reports.
“Dmitry Medvedev gave instructions to render aid to the families of he dead and all necessary medical assistance to the wounded,” the residential press service reported.
The defence minister also reported to the head of state on measures eing taken to reinforce protection of military facilities and xercise areas, RIA Novosti reports.
As a result of the terror act near Buinaksk, five servicemen were illed and over 30 wounded.
