The Commander of the US European Forces and the Supreme Allied Commander of Nato's European Forces, General Philip Breedlove, has held a phone conversation with the Chief of the Georgian General Staff, Major-General Vakhtang Kalanadze.
The parties discussed mutual cooperation in the sphere of regional security. The American commander thanked Georgia for its contribution to the international mission in Afghanistan, while the Georgian general expressed his country's gratitude for US-sponsored rehabilitation programmes for wounded Georgian servicemen.
