Georgian presidents signs decree to hold municipal elections

Georgian President Georgy Margvelashvili has signed a decree to organize municipal elections, News Georgia reports.

Parliamentary secretary Shalva Tadumadze will present a report at the session of the government today.

The elections were originally planned for June 15. The previous municipal elections were held in 2010. Most seats were then taken by the United National Movement.
