Georgian Minister for Regional Development and Infrastructure David Narmania plans to stand for the Tbilisi mayor on June 15 as a member of the Georgian Dream coalition, ITAR-TASS reports.
He thanked the government for supporting him throughout 1.5 years at the ministry. Narmania called progress under Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili’s supervision efficient and expressed confidence that he will be a successful mayor of Tbilisi.
