Ingush functionary owns quarter of republic’s land

According to property declarations of functionaries from January 1 to December 31, 2013, Ingush Vice Prime Minister Magomed Bekov owned about 855,7 square kilometers on 179 land lots, about a quarter of the area of Ingushetia, RIA Novosti reports.The territory of Ingushetia totals 3,600 square kilometers. The functionary has over 21.8 million rubles of undeclared income, owns an Audi A8L and a Mercedes-Benz GL-450 4Matic.Bekov said that he had been in business as a developer for 10 years before becoming a functionary. Most of the land listed in the property declaration was purchased in the Moscow Region in 2005, in his words.
