Special operation in eastern Ukraine to be headed by Turchinov

The operational headquarters of the special operation in eastern Ukraine will be headed by Oleksandr Turchynov, appointed by the Verkhovna Rada as the acting president. The first deputy head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Krutov, has been charged with the realization of its security component, a source in the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine said.Parubiy, the secretary of the Council of National Security and Defense, and Nalivaychenko, the head of the Ukrainian Security Services, will work on operational decisions.
