The first Iranian-made destroyer, Damavand, will join the Naval Forces of the Islamic Republic in the Caspian Sea soon, said Khordad Khakimi, senior commander of the Iranian Naval Forces and head of the fourth naval zone, News Azerbaijan reports.
Construction of Damavand started in 2010.
