Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel that the first blood of self-defense activists in Kramatorsk (Ukraine) was putting Ukraine on the edge of a civil war.
Alexey Vlasov, executive director of the North-South Center for Political Analysis, editor-in-chief of Vestnik Kavkaza, told RIA Novosti that there was no clear distinction between a civil war and a local conflict. In his opinion, casualties were enough to understand that confrontation is beyond a critical point. Vlasov believes that the civil war has already started.
