Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will discuss the preparations for the upcoming presidential polls of August 10, 2014, said Presidential Advisor Ahmet Sever, Trend reports.
Mehmet Ali Sahin, deputy head of the ruling Justice and Development Party, said that Gul could become the prime minister if Erdogan would become the president.
The second round of votes will be held on August 24 if none of the candidates wins at least 51% of votes.
