Russian President Vladimir Putin said that ministers were in touch with Ukrainian officials. He noted that Medvedev and Yatsenyuk, Naryshkin and Turchynov were in contact.
The Russian leader called the presidential campaign in Ukraine unacceptable in the contact of the crisis and pressure on candidates from the east could not make the elections legitimate.
Putin reminded that, according to the Constitution of Ukraine, the elections could not be held as long as Yanukovych remained the president.
