The acting Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Andrey Deshchytsa after his return from Geneva discussed today with the OSCE mission organization's involvement in the de-escalation of the situation in the east of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has urged the participants of the Geneva agreements to make every effort to de-escalate the situation in the East of Ukraine. In addition, the Cabinet instructed the authorities to discuss with the public the changes in the Constitution.
The Foreign Ministry has stated that Ukraine had already taken steps to de-escalate the situation in the east of Ukraine. In particular, the active phase of the antiterrorist operation in the east has been suspended.
