The President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Anne Brasseur, says she welcomes the agreement reached by the EU, the US, Russia and Ukraine in Geneva. The parties agreed that all militants should put down arms in exchange for mass amnesty and that no foreign interference should take place.
"I welcome this agreement as it is aimed at easing tensions in Ukraine," she said.
