Iranian President Hassan Rouhani met today with Georgian Ambassador to Tehran Iosif Chakashvili. During the meeting the president of the Islamic Republic noted that Iran was interested in further development of cooperation with neighbouring countries.
Rouhani also said that the Iran would do its best to connect the Iranian railways system with the Azerbaijani one via the territory of Georgia.
