The North Caucasus District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don will have the first hearings of Makhachkala ex-Mayor Sayid Amirov’s case at 10.00AM today, RIA Novosti reports.
His nephew, ex-Head of Kaspiysk Yusup Japarov, will take part in the process. Prosecutors accused Amirov and Japarov of planning to shoot down a political figure using a missile system. Amirov is also suspected of killing investigator Arsen Gajibekov.
