Astana has opened the 12th Eurasian Media Forum at the Palace of Independence. Dariga Nazarbayeva, head of the Organizing Committee of the Forum, noted at the opening that the meeting will be an opportunity to discuss media problems and dramatic events in the CIS and the Middle East, Trend reports.
The first day of the forum will be focused on the new world order and global recession, Iranian nuclear program, forces in the Middle East Region. The second day will be dedicated to talks about the Ukraine crisis and Eurasian integration.
