Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Ali Larijani and Latvian Foreign Minister Edgards Rinkevics met in Tehran yesterday.
Larijani called for strengthening of bilateral relations and emphasized that Iran had always been positive towards development of ties with Latvia. He noted that exchanges of visits of state and private structures of Iran and Latvia should be expanded in the fields of economy and trade.
Rinkevics praised the role of Iran in settling regional problems, especially in Afghanistan.
