Georgia speeds up signing of EU association agreement

Georgian President Georgy Margvelashvili said at the Eastern Partnership summit in Prague that speeding up the process of signing the EU association agreement was exceptionally important, News Georgia reports. He clarified that the association agreement and the free trade deal will be signed no later than June 2014. The association document was initialed in Vilnius in late November 2013. The documents were originally planned to be signed in August-September. The EU said in March that it was planning to sign association and free trade agreements with Moldova and Georgia in June.
