David Kevkhishvili, head of the administration of the Kvareli District (Khakheti), and his supporters have been caught by the police today for hooliganism and resisting detention, Khereti reports.
They were throwing eggs at the Kvareli City Council. The group put nails into the door of the office of the council’s head. They explained that the acts were organized against ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili’s United National Movement members.
Nino Khutsishvili, spokeswoman of the municipality, said that members of the United National Movement could be interested in their arrest.
