Georgian President Georgy Margvelashvili has met Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Deshytsya. The meeting was held in the framework of the summit devoted to the fifth anniversary of the Eastern Partnership project.
The parties discussed the situation in Ukraine and Russia's interference in the conflict. The two officials also discussed the coming presidential elections in Ukraine.
The Georgian president noted that is was necessary that the elections be held in all regions of the country and meet democratic standards. The Ukrainian minister for his part thanked the Georgian president for his country's support of Ukraine's territorial integrity.
