U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said that Washington was ready to impose sanctions on certain Russian economic sectors, unless it changes its policy in Ukraine, ITAR-TASS reports.
The U.S. imposed sanctions against 7 Russian officials and 17 companies yesterday. Their assets were frozen and visas restricted. According to Kerry, deployment of Russian forces in the eastern part of Ukraine was a sign that the sanctions had an impact.
