The EU has banned 15 Russian officials and frozen their assets. They include Russian Vice Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak, Presidential Envoy to Crimea Oleg Belaventsev, Vice Speaker of Duma Lyudmila Shvetsova, Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov, Intelligence Chief of the General Staff Igor Sergun, Vice Speaker of Duma Sergey Neverov, ITAR-TASS reports.
The EU blacklist consists of a total of 48 people. They were banned from visiting EU states and their accounts were frozen.
The first EU blacklist for Russia was published with 21 names on March 17. It was expanded by 12 more names on March 21.
