Turkish PM condemns German president

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has bashed German President Joachim Gauck for the declarations made at the Middle East Technical University the previous day, ITAR-TASS reports.

The German president criticized Turkish judicial reforms, the new law on expansion of authority of the National Intelligence Organization, expressed concerns over freedom of speech and excessive force used by the police during the crackdown at the Gezi Park last summer.

Erdogan said that Gauck had no right to interfere in Turkey’s home affairs.
