The Islamic Republic of Iran condemns the sanctions imposed on Russia by the EU and the US and believes the move is counterproductive, the spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Marzie Afham, says.
"We condemn these sanctions. The US and the EU should understand that such methods are ineffective. These states should treat other countries as equals," she said.
