Robert Serry, UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, said that the alliance of Fatah and Hamas in the Palestinian government should be taken as an effort to achieve peace between Palestine and Israel, ITAR-TASS reports.
Serry reminded that he had discussed the topic with President of the Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas on April 24. In his words, Abbas had assured him that the alliance agreement will be realized under obligations of the Palestinian Liberation Organization.
