38 people died and 200 were injured after the building housing the Odessan labour unions caught fire yesterday. The Ukrainian police believe the fire was caused by arson.
A mass fight started last night on Greek Street, where pro-EU activists clashed with pro-Russian protesters. Another fight took place on Kolikovo Field.
The acting mayor of Odessa, Oleg Bryndak, called on both sides to refrain from violence.
