Georgian lawmakers ban all forms of discrimination

The Georgian Parliament has passed the bill prohibiting any kind of discrimination in its third hearing. 120 MPs voted in favour of the bill, one against.

 

The newly-adopted law bans discrimination based on race, sex, citizenship, religion, political affiliation, sexual orientation, gender identity etc. The law is criticized by the Georgian Orthodox Church.
