The international community is shocked by the recent tragedy in the Southern Ukrainian city of Odessa, where 46 people died and 214 were injured as a local public building was set on fire.
German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Stein-Meier wrote on Twitter that the horrible death of so many people should be a "wake-up call." Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė said she had deplored the tragedy and wished strength and courage to the people of Ukraine.
Bulgarian Foreign Minister Kristian Vigenin said the events in Odessa had been terrible and called on the Ukrainian authorities to disarm all radical groups.
The Belarusian Foreign Ministry expressed its deep concern over the situation in Eastern and Southern Ukraine and said it paid special attention to the ongoing political turmoil in the country.
