Kazakhstan to join WTO this year

Kazakhstan is going to join the World Trade Organization by end of the year, President Nursultan Nazarbayev told a meeting of the Asian Development Bank's managing council.

"The talks are almost over. We hope Kazakhstan will become a lawful member of the body this year," he said.
