77% of respondents surveyed in Georgia support Georgia's accession to the EU, 72 % support joining NATO, a report by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) says.
As for the future of Georgia's accession to NATO, 14% believe that this process will last for four years, 24% think that Georgia will be accepted into NATO after 2018, 21% think that it will never happen, 40% found it difficult to answer, Trend reports.
However, 6% of respondents support Georgia joining the Eurasian Union created by Russia.
33% believe that Georgia has more to gain from European integration. With regard to relations with Russia, only 9% fully agree with the opinion that Georgia has more to gain from normalizing relations with Russia than from European integration.
The study was conducted between March 26 and April 18.
