The European Commission sees the Ukrainian crisis and the related tensions as being among the major risks to the development of the EU economy, the vice president of the European Commission Siim Kallas said today.
"One of the main risks to the European economy now is the external tensions and uncertainties related mainly to the crisis in Ukraine. We analyzed how the Ukrainian crisis could influence relations between the EU and Russia. We have three scenarios of its impact on the economy. The worst would mean a negative impact on the growth of the European economy," Kallas said, giving no details of these scenarios, RIA Novosti reported.
