Pushnyakov named chief of Ukrainian Ground Forces

Ukrainian acting President Oleksandr Turchynov has appointed Lieutenant-General Anatoly Pushnyakov as the commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, RIA Novosti reports.

The previous commander was dismissed by President Victor Yanukovych.
