The head of the National Security Committee of the Ukrainian Parliament, member of the UDAR faction Sergey Kaplin, says the country should get back the nuclear arsenal it gave up in accordance with the 1994 memorandum signed in Budapest.
According to the memorandum, Ukraine agreed to hand over its nuclear arms to Russia, while Russia, the UK and the US guaranteed Ukraine's independence and territorial integrity.
Ukraine insists that Russia's annexation of Crimea was a severe violation of the document.
