German Chancellor Angela Merkel has commented on the Russian authorities' decision to hold a military parade in the Crimea on May 9th. According to Merkel, such a parade would be inappropriate taking into consideration the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.
"I think it is really sad that a region experiencing a deep crisis is going to hold a military parade," she said.
