Georgia and U.S. discuss pressure on Moscow

Georgian Defense Minister Irakly Alasania met U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel in Washington yesterday and discussed the situation in Ukraine in the context of putting pressure on Russia, RIA Novosti reports.The sides considered efforts to strengthen international obligations and continue diplomatic and economic pressure on Moscow. Hagel thanked Alasania for Georgia’s part in the ISAF mission in Afghanistan and efforts to adopt NATO standards.
