Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the crisis in Ukraine at a session of the Russian National Security Council, said Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov, RIA Novosti reports.
Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Head of the Kremlin Administration Sergey Ivanov, Speakers of Parliament Valentina Matviyenko and Sergey Naryshkin, Secretary of the National Security Council Nikolai Patrushev and his deputy Rashid Nurgaliyev, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov, Foreign Intelligence Chief Mikhail Fradkov, permanent member of the Security Council Boris Gryzlov attended the meeting.
They exchanged opinions in the context of the recent meeting of Putin and Didier Burkhalter, president of Switzerland and chairman-in-office of the OSCE.
Putin congratulated everyone on the upcoming Victory Day.
