Russian President Vladimir Putin laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, government officials, heads of the Presidential Administration, veterans, MPs and generals laid flowers at the Tomb, ITAR-TASS reports.

The Moscow Military Garrison marched next to the monument.
