Georgian Defense Minister Irakly Alasania is considered the country’s most popular politician according to social polls conducted organized by CRRC, initiated by the National Democratic Institute (NDI), Georgia Online reports.
According to the social polls, 67% of people questioned said that Alasania was appealing to them. He is followed by Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili (64%), Speaker of Parliament David Usupashvili (61%), Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze (51%), ex-Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili (51%), President Georgy Margvelashvili (46%).
Georgian Catholicos Patriarch has appealing to 96% of Georgians. Only 1% of people expressed a negative attitude towards him. 2% could not give an answer, 1% refused said they had never heard about him.
3942 people were questioned from March 26 to April 18.
