Ukraine refuses to acknowledge the $3.5 billion debt for Russian gas deliveries announced earlier by Gazprom, acting Ukrainian Energy Minister Yuriy Prodan said on Thursday.
Gazprom said on Wednesday that it has not received payments for deliveries of Russian natural gas to Ukraine in April, which brings Kiev’s gas debt to a total of $3.5 billion.
Ukraine refuses to recognize the new gas price of $485.50 per thousand cubic meter.
