U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern has talked to Armenian journalists about the six basic principles of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict discussed by the OSCE Minsk Group representative from the United States, James Warlick in Washington.
Heffern said that Warlick had been worried about stagnation in the settlement process and wanted to remind governments and countries that it is important to distinguish between the status of Nagorno-Karabakh and its neighboring lands. "These are different statuses, different consequences," he said.
