Russian President Vladimir Putin offered Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Lev Kuznetsov to head the Ministry for Development of the North Caucasus that was being formed, ITAR-TASS reports.
Formation of the ministry was initiated by the prime minister.
Putin thanked Kuznetsov for his work in the Krasnodar Territory. He has been governing the region for over 4 years. Kuznetsov promised to use his experience at the new post.
