Ukrainian interior minister says special operation will last indefinitely

Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said that the operation against “federalization” activists in the south-east of Ukraine will last indefinitely, RIA Novosti reports.He noted that the situation had been stabilized in the last few days and that a certain balance had been achieved in Mariupol. The minister reminded that the staff of two local enterprises helped the police patrol the streets.Avakov was dismissed from commanding the operation on May 1.
