Donetsk and Luhansk want to merge

The Donetsk and the Luhansk oblasts want to merge, RIA Novosti reports.The two regions held referendums on Sunday and declared their independence. Denis Pushilin, co-chair of the government of the “Donetsk People’s Republic”, proposed merging with the “Luhansk People’s Republic” on Monday and asked Russia to consider allowing Donetsk to become its territory.As of 10.00AM, the authorities were discussing mergence.
